TEGASONG - "Overture" is the mandatory opening track played at the start of every theater show, concert, and live performance by the Japanese idol group AKB48 and all its sister groups. The song serves as a signal that the performance is about to begin while also hyping up the audience to perform "mixes" (the distinctive cheers of wota or fans). Interestingly, it is the only track in the show that does not feature vocals by the group members themselves, but rather by an English-speaking voice artist.
